CEBUG represents a regional association based in the Erie County Ohio and surrounding area dedicated to the “user helping user” concept within a nonprofit setting. Those interacting within CEBUG have a diverse background including home users, office workers, businesspersons, and information technology experts. The mission of CEBUG is to promote activities to encourage the development of technical and professional skills relating to computer use. To that end, activities focus on:

·      Sharing of useful information and best practices

·      Discovering new and innovative practices and techniques

·      Exposure of issues and limitations within hardware/software products

·      Providing feedback to product developers

·      Leverage CEBUG’s collective power to influence developers of products and legislation that could affect consumers or technological interests

·      Provide general advice and support to its membership to accelerate mutual success.

CEBUG should be a resource for sharing expertise and vision among members dedicated to mutual success in computer usage and development.
